“Go First Dice” & Recreational Mathematics

Recreational maths is not dead.

I could point to YouTube channels covering maths with increasing millions of subscribers, but Iʼll keep it even more delightful and closer to home: these Go First Dice.

For my birthday today, my parents checked my wish list (just as they’ve done for my entire life), and found something fun: a set of four dice that always fairly order themselves, no matter how many are used. They're called “Go First Dice”, and they were apparently thought up by my friend James (now operating Crab Fragment Labs), and gloriously described here.
